If you are going to listen to a Little Feat show it really should be one with Lowell George since without him it is no more a Little Feat show than a Dead show without Jerry.You might enjoy the 9/19/74 show live from the Ultrasonic studios here on the archive,it's the band at their best.

Oh I love the Lowell years and I agree. But I do have to say of all the bands that tried a comeback after a key member has left or dies I think the 1988 Feat incarnation is an amazing representation. The guy from Pure Prairie league sounds exactly like Lowell and does a nice job interpreting the old stuff. And there are 4 or 5 really good songs off that Let It roll album

I agree as well BUT I saw the first comeback show at New Orleans Jazz Fest on the riverboat (Radiators opened) and then a few weeks later in San Jose (both shows featuring Bonnie Raitt playing with the boys) and those were joyous good time shows.
FYI, Lowell's son Forrest is/was big time Deadhead. Not too surprising, I guess, but he followed the band around quite a bit.

I saw Bonnie come out and do Dixie Chicken with them at the HOB in LA. That was mid 90's and one the "lead singers" during that time was Shawn Murphy. Not sure how long that lasted

have to say something about that - I caught them five years or so ago up here just because nothing comes up here and I figured it'd be entertaining but not grat and they blew the roof off the mutha! no joke. I'd go again
and I remember thinking that seeing the Allman Bros at Red Rocks in 91 or 92 and it was one of the best shows i ever saw.
